El Rio Santa Cruz neighborhood Health Center, Inc. is governed by the El Rio Board of Directors who meet once a month to discuss and make decisions in the interest of health center patients and the community. The Board of Directors consist of community members, are also patients. All bring knowledge and expertise in areas related to the interests of the health center. The Executive Committee consists of the Board President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary and meet once a month to review center related issues at an executive level.

The members of the El Rio Board of Directors are community volunteers, donating their time not only for regular monthly Board meetings, but also monthly and/or quarterly meetings of other various committees in oversight of daily clinic operations. In addition, they give their time volunteering throughout the year for employee and clinic functions, health center and Foundation fundraisers.

The El Rio Board of Directors consists of individuals whose dedication and diligence to El Rio’s mission is reflected by the more than 75,000 patients provided quality comprehensive health care at our fifteen clinics and six outreach sites throughout Tucson.
