Since 1991 the clinic has provided primary medical
services to over 2000 individuals living with HIV/ AIDS
in Pima County and Southern Arizona. Special Immunology
Associates (SIA) is licensed to provide medical and
behavioral health outpatient services.
The clinic currently provides services to over 1500
persons living with HIV/AIDS and advocates on behalf of
its patients to improve the quality of services
available in Southern Arizona.
The Special Immunology Associates (SIA) is a clinic of
El Rio Community Health Center and funded by the US
Department of Health Resources & Services Administration
Ryan White Care Act Titles II & III. Funding
allows for comprehensive care through a number of
services and programs.
El Rio Special Immunology exists to provide quality comprehensive health care to people living with HIV/AIDS regardless of ability to pay.
