Family Practice
Family Practice physicians see patients of all ages. They are available for physicals, well child exams, annual gynecological exams, and provide continuity care to those patients with chronic medical problems. The doctors work closely with a dietician as well as a clinical pharmacist to provide comprehensive care to those patients that have medical problems such as diabetes, coronary heart disease, and elevated cholesterol.
Internal Medicine
El Rio's Internal Medicine physicians see patients 18 years of age and older. They specialize in the diagnosis, management and treatment of diseases. They also provide patients an understanding of preventive medicine, men's and women's health, substance abuse, and mental health.
Pediatrics
El Rio pediatricians deliver care to more than 30,000 children. Care includes well child care, physical exams, sports physicals, sick child visits, management and education for children who have chronic illnesses such as asthma and diabetes.
HIV / AIDS Treatment, Education and Intervention
El Rio's Special Immunology Associates (SIA) provides primary care (inpatient and outpatient) as well as consultative care to persons living with HIV infection throughout Southern Arizona. SIA provides quality ambulatory primary health care to HIV/AIDS infected patients; education and information regarding new treatments and therapies to improve the quality of life and behavioral health/counseling.
Health Care for the Homeless
El Rio is the largest provider of primary health care, case management, advocacy, and behavioral health services in the Tucson area for people who are homeless. Although access to care for the homeless is available at all El Rio sites, El Rio's Broadway clinic at 1101 E. Broadway Blvd. specializes in the needs of people who are homeless.
Immunizations

Nurse Midwifery Services
Health care to women and childbearing families is provided by Certified Nurse-Midwives (CNMs). Our clients give birth at Tucson Medical Center in modern birthing rooms or at the Birth & Women's Health Center. The El Rio Certified Nurse-Midwives are specialists in normal childbirth. They are Registered Nurses who have completed an accredited university program in Nurse-Midwifery. They are certified by the American College of Nurse-Midwives and licensed in the State of Arizona. Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN)
El Rio OB/GYN Associates provide full obstetrical care in addition to a full array of gynecologic services. Ultrasound exams are performed in our office along with fetal non-stress tests and biophysical profiles for high risk pregnancies. Our patients deliver at Tucson Medical Center. El Rio OB/GYN Associates Tucson OB/GYN Women's Health - Providers offer complete care for women through every stage of life. We provide routine gynecologic care, menopausal services, including HRT counseling, and oncology services.
Optometry
El Rio Health Center offers optometry services at our Main Clinic at 839 W. Congress Street.
