El Rio’s Family Practice department consists of nine family practice doctors located at the Congress, Northwest, Broadway, and Pascua Clinics. Family Practice physicians see patients of all ages. They are open to take new patients and are available for physicals, well child exams, annual gynecological exams, and provide continuity care to those patients with chronic medical problems. Family Practice doctors work closely with a dietician as well as a clinical pharmacist to provide more comprehensive care to those patients that have medical problems such as diabetes, coronary heart disease, and elevated cholesterol.
