What are the benefits of the flu vaccination?*

2. It can reduce the risk of flu-associated hospitalizations for children and adults.
3. It helps prevent serious medical events associated with some chronic conditions.
4. It helps protect women during and after pregnancy.

6. It has been shown in several studies to reduce severity of illness in people who get vaccinated but still get sick.
7. Getting vaccinated may also protect the people around you, including those who are more vulnerable to serious flu like illness, like babies and young children, older people, and people with certain chronic health conditions.

What is the cost of the flu vaccination?

If you have insurance, there may be no cost to you and your flu shot charge will be submitted to your insurance. Please talk with your insurance plan to discuss potential costs for vaccines.

If you do not have insurance, you will have a $25-$55 charge billed directly to you.
